A three-tabbed Excel spreadsheet entitled 'backup.xls' found according to Special Agent David Shaver, CCIU, on the .22. computer. The first tab was labeled 'Wget' and consisted of two columns. The first tab had 10,000 Message Record Numbers (MRN) for Department of State cables. The second column was 'the command line to download each of the cables in column one.' The second tab of the 'backup.xls' was entitled '0310-0410' and consisted of a list of Message Record Numbers (MRN) for Department of State cables that were published between March 2010 and April 2010. In the top left of the second tab was the sequence '251,288.' The third tab of the Excel spreadsheet entitled 'backup.xls' was entitled '0510' Message Record Numbers (MRN), embassy information, and classification type for all the Department of State cables. The Excel spreadsheet entitled 'backup.xls' was partially corrupted, but able to be opened.

First use of Wget was in early March 2010, according to the testimony of Special Agent David Shaver, CCIU. 'This instance of WGet seemed to be to access the Gitmo detainee assessments. The forensic examiner was able to recreate the script and download Gitmo detainee logs. The forensic unit then downloaded the Gitmo logs published by WikiLeaks and compared them to what they pulled via WGet. According to Shaver, they matched.'

On May 20, 2010 (Reitman notes year as 2009, but could be a typo) a large number of files were downloaded and then compiled into a .zip file on the .22 computer. These included jpg images such as presentations and documents from hospital burn victims related to the May 4, 2009 Garani air strike. During cross examination by the defense, Shaver admitted that he did not examine to .zip file because it was no longer present on the Alienware .22 computer.

Special Agent Toni Graham, Army CID, currently with the 102nd Military Police detatchment in Hawaii, is serving on a Battalion in Baghdad, Iraq when 'she received instructions from her headquarters based on information from a confidential informant who was in contact with the FBI. She then received a search warrant from a military magistrate and developed a team, including Thomas Smith, a counter intelligence agent, and another individual. Graham was charged with collecting the personal computer [of Bradley Manning] and additional digital devices related to the Bradley Manning investigation. She also canvassed acquaintances and collected his personal, SCIF computers, and 2 SIPR computers. Graham also searched the Containerized Housing Unit (CHU) where Manning resided. On July 12, 2010 took a personal computer, hard drive, cell phone, 10 DVDs, and 1 CD marked with the word 'secret' in a U.S. postal shipping package.' Graham also took one SIPRNet computer and another personal computer from the supply room. Graham also took another computer because she found out that Manning used a 'secret' scanner related to it. 'Graham testified that she'd received authorization to seize and search the devices via her commander.' Captain Peter Bigelow, whose computer Bradley Manning allegedly used while working under him in the supply room also gave her consent. Graham testified that she also had 'formal search authorization.'

Special Agent Toni Graham, Army CID, currently from the 102nd Military Police detachment in Hawaii, signs an affidavit that weighs heavily in the ruling that orders Bradley Manning into pretrial confinement. The affadvit says that Bradley Manning had released Top Secret classified material and U.S. State Department cables on the internet and would share more. Graham says that much of her affidavit was based on information from commanders a Fort Belvoir, Virginia, who received intelligence from a confidential informant. The affadvit mentioned an article in a military magazine 'Stars and Stripes' called 'A Wiki for a World of Secrets'

Special Agent Calder Robinson, Army CCIU, in charge of the European Branch office for Army CID, receives a call, and based on the information he receives, he travels to Baghdad, Iraq to take control of digital evidence and to conduct preliminary forensic examination. Robinson travels to Camp Liberty in Baghdad, because it is considered the best place to conduct preliminary forensic analysis. He then transports that evidence to INSERT for further forensic examination.

In the second week of June 2010, two Army CCIU agents obtain circle log files and firewall logs from the Department of State. When agents collect log files from the Department of State they are made aware of Intelink, which allows people to find classified documents on SIPRNet. Agents then collected logs on a disk from Intelink. Agents also collected logs from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) and the CIA. From ODNI, agents also collect logs of keywords people searched and CENTAUR logs based on IP address, which is the government name for NetFlow logs or connection logs to and from, time, date, and length.

Special Agent Toni Graham, Army CID, testifies that the evidence was moved to CCIU through a 'controlled transfer' with physical evidence hand delivered and additional evidence sent via registered mail. Evidence was hand delivered to Kuwait, then to Virginia.

A defense filing, however, states that the investigation was transferred to CCIU on June 23, 2010. The investigation is transferred to Army CCIU, according to Special Agent Mark Mander, Army CCIU, because it is determined that more suited to Army CCIU for search warrants and special warrants needed from a Federal judge, including Google and Twitter, and CONUS leads.
