Senate Select Committee on Intelligence meets in a closed session with director of national intelligence James Clapper regarding unauthorized disclosures of classified information and to 'to underscore the need for the Executive Branch to take tangible and demonstrable steps to detect and deter intelligence leaks, and to fully, fairly, and impartially investigate the disclosures that have already taken place.' In response, 'The IC later implemented changes to address leaks, including in the expanded use of the polygraph and directing the IC IG to lead independent administrative investigations of select unauthorized disclosure cases'
